Cat figurine advent calendar – open a door each morning until Christmas

Advent calendar – a little ritual for every December morning

Behind each of the 24 doors is a little plastic cat. Count down the days until Christmas and set out the figures one by one. By December 24, you’ll have a whole gathering of cats.

Why this cat advent calendar?

What you open isn’t eaten in a minute. The figures stay and become part of your Christmas decorations. The calendar itself takes up hardly any space.

• One door a day: from December 1 to 24, morning or evening
• Ready to display: every cat finds a spot on a table or shelf
• For the whole family: children and adults take turns opening the doors
• Takes up little space: fits on a dresser, windowsill, or desk
• Use again next year: pack the figures away with the rest of your decorations

An Advent that leaves you with more than just paper at the end.

Set up the calendar at the end of November somewhere you’ll pass by in the morning. The first cat goes beside it on December 1, and each one after that joins the group. If you like, create a little scene with candles and fir branches.
