Travertine ceiling light - small retro stone with engraving on walnut

Travertine ceiling light - a small engraved piece of stone for the hallway

This compact ceiling light combines yellow travertine with dark walnut wood in a round retro design. With a diameter of 17 cm, it fits in hallways, storage rooms, stairwells, and small bedrooms where a large light would be too much.

Why this ceiling light?

The design follows the Wabi-Sabi philosophy: simple shapes, natural materials, and a touch of irregularity. The light shines through the stone from the sides and downward, so the lamp glows rather than simply radiating light.

• Travertine and walnut: yellow natural stone on dark wood, creating a warm, earthy contrast.
• Engraved surface: the stone is engraved, and its texture can be seen up close.
• Side light emission: light passes through the sides and casts a soft glow on the ceiling.
• GX53 socket: for a flat GX53 LED bulb, a common format.
• Mains voltage: suitable for 230 V.

Small as it is, it gives a simple ceiling a considered look.

Place one above the front door or in a narrow passage, or several in a row along a longer hallway. With warm LED light, the stone takes on a honey tone in the evening. At 15 cm high, it stays clear of tall heads and opening doors.
