Cat puzzle box – wooden toy with a rough base that trims the claws

Puzzle box for cats – fishing for treats while filing down the tips of their claws

Place a treat or a small toy in the box, and your cat will reach through the openings to get it. The bottom has a rough texture. Each attempt to grab the prize files down the sharp claw tips a little.

Why this puzzle box?

Most cats dislike having their claws trimmed, and even fewer like sitting still for it. With this box, part of the task is taken care of while they play. Entirely voluntarily.

• Openings all around: round and elongated openings on top and on the sides invite your cat's paw from every angle.
• Filing base: the grippy surface on the bottom files the claw tips as your cat pulls a treat toward the hole.
• Removable lid: the top panel can be lifted off, so you can refill treats or clean the box in seconds.
• Solid wooden frame: the sturdy frame stays in place on the floor and looks neat in the living room too.
• Entertainment: a reason to hunt and reach that keeps your cat's paws off the sofa in the meantime.

Play first, claw care on the side.

Start with a favorite treat so your cat learns where the reward is, then switch to small toys later. Most cats understand how it works after just a few rounds. Check the bottom from time to time and brush out crumbs so the texture remains effective.
