Bedside pendant light – travertine head on an adjustable cable, one or two

Pendant light - a small stone block that keeps your bedside table clear

Hang this travertine pendant light beside the bed or above a reading chair. This keeps the bedside table free for a book and a glass of water. One head is enough for one spot; two cover both sides of a double bed.

Why this pendant light?

The shade is made of travertine, and the pores and grain vary from lamp to lamp. Its appearance follows the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy, in which small irregularities are part of the design.

• Stone with its own grain: every shade displays a slightly different pattern.
• Adjustable height: the cable can be adjusted so the head hangs at eye level beside the bed or higher above a chair.
• One or two heads: one light for a reading spot, two for a wider area.
• E27 socket: for a standard LED bulb that you can replace yourself.

A quiet piece of stone on a cable - and that is precisely the point.

Bedrooms, reading nooks, and small dining tables pair well with it. Because the light hangs low, it illuminates the book page or plate rather than the entire room. For general lighting, combine the light with a second lamp.
