Battery-powered shelf lamp - spool shape in eau-de-nil lacquer for bookshelves

Shelf lamp - a soft green light among your books

On a bookshelf, a lamp with a plug usually has poor prospects: the cable has nowhere to go. This lamp runs on a rechargeable battery and sits among books, plants, and picture frames. The pale eau-de-nil green is barely noticeable during the day and glows calmly in the evening.

Why this shelf lamp?

It is compact enough for a standard shelf and brings to mind an old spool of thread. With three settings, it remains a quiet accent or becomes bright enough to find a book title.

• Fits on a shelf: 30 cm high, 11 cm at the base, so it stands on most shelves
• Invisible power supply: no cable hanging down the side of the shelf
• Subtle accent light: around 24 hours on the low setting, enough for many evenings
• Spool-shaped body: the turned form complements book spines and the objects beside it
• Gloss finish: ten coats give the pale green a smooth, reflective surface

An illuminated shelf makes the whole wall feel finished, even when nothing else is lit.

Place the lamp at the end of a row of books or beside a plant. When you need a little more light for reading, tap the top and take it with you to the armchair. Depending on the setting, recharge it every few evenings via the USB-C port on the base.
