Black spool lamp – battery-powered and three dimmable light levels at the tap of a finger

Black Coil Lamp - choose the brightness that suits the moment

One lamp, three moods. A tap on top takes this black-lacquered lamp from a soft, low light to a brighter setting for reading and back again. It runs on a built-in battery and works wherever you place it.

Why this dimmable coil lamp?

A lamp with just one brightness is too bright or too dim half the time. With three settings, you can adjust it to what the room needs right now, from a quiet evening to task lighting.

• Low setting: a soft ambient light that lasts around 24 hours per charge.
• Medium setting: the middle ground for the living room, with around 12 hours of runtime.
• High setting: the brightest setting for reading or at a desk, for around 7 hours.
• Glossy black body: ten layers of lacquer on a turned coil-shaped form.
• Tap button: a single control on top, with no switches or dials.

Black lacquer and dimmed light make a calm, high-contrast pairing on a dark evening.

The black fits into almost any interior, from a white kitchen unit to a dark bookcase. At 30 cm tall and 16 cm in diameter at the top, the lamp is compact enough for a bedside table. When the light starts to fade, plug the USB-C cable into the base.
