Magnetic wind chime – gentle sound for the windowsill and desk

Magnetic wind chime – a bright tone when a breeze comes through the window

A small object for the windowsill: a metal singing bowl hangs magnetically from a wooden frame. A breeze or a gentle tap is all it takes to produce a clear, soft tone.

Why this wind chime?

It doesn’t need strings or a ceiling hook. Simply place it somewhere a little air flows through now and then.

• Free to swing: the bowl hangs loosely from the magnet and can move.
• Clear tone: a bright sound that fades slowly.
• No hanging required: sits on a windowsill, desk, or shelf.
• Tap it: it also rings without wind when you tap it with your finger.

An object you hear first, then look at again.

By a tilted-open window, the bowl responds to every breeze. At your desk, tap it yourself from time to time. On a bookshelf, it’s above all a quiet piece of wood and metal.
