Bicycle saddle cover – a soft layer over the saddle you already have

A cover that you pull over your existing bicycle saddle and secure with an elastic edge. The outer layer is water-repellent and breathable, so the saddle is ready to use again more quickly after a shower. Measuring 28 × 16 centimetres, it fits most city and touring saddles.

Why choose a saddle cover?

Replacing a hard saddle costs money and requires a workshop appointment. A cover adds a softer seating layer without changing anything on the bike itself. In the rain, the water also stays on the outside and does not seep into the saddle underneath.

Pull the cover over the saddle from front to back, then work the elastic edge all the way underneath the saddle nose. The cover measures 28 × 16 × 2 centimetres; it stretches more tightly over a wide Dutch-style saddle than over a narrow racing saddle. Wash it on a gentle cycle and air-dry it.
