Solid wood chess set - foldable board measuring 39 x 39 cm with pieces

Wooden chess set - for quiet games at home and on the go

A handcrafted solid wood chess set with a folding board. The pieces fit inside, so everything stays together when you take it with you. For a game at the kitchen table, in a vacation home, or at a friend's place.

Why this chess set?

The wooden pieces have a satisfying weight in your hand and feel nicer to play with than plastic ones. When folded, the set takes up very little space.

• Easy to take along: when folded, it fits in a bag or cupboard.
• Storage included: the board also serves as a box for the pieces.
• Playing surface: 39 x 39 cm: plenty of room to make your moves comfortably.
• For beginners and experienced players: from your first game to studying openings.

A set that can sit quietly on the coffee table after the game.

Unfold the board, set up the pieces, and play: that's all there is to it. It's just as suited to an evening with friends as to a long game on your own with a chess book. It's also a lovely gift for someone who enjoys playing chess.
