Mood light – Stained-glass shade with pull switch on metal base

Ambient Lamp - Colored Glass and a Weighted Base

A Tiffany-style lamp with a pointed witch-hat shade made of purple and orange glass, set on an embossed metal base. It plugs into an outlet and is switched on with a pull chain. Warm light brings out the color in every individual panel.

Why choose an ambient lamp?

Seasonal decorations are usually made of cardboard and spend eleven months of the year in a box. Glass and metal feel more like home furnishings, which is why this lamp can remain on the hallway console even after the end of October. A lamp first, a costume second.

• Purple and orange glass: each panel catches the light differently, so the shade is never a single color.
• Embossed metal base: heavy and stable on a side table, with a round footprint.
• Pull chain: no fumbling for a cable switch behind the table.
• Mains powered: plug it in and enjoy the light, with no batteries or charging time.
• For many seasons: sturdy enough to be stored and set up again year after year.

The kind of lamp that quietly sets the tone throughout the hallway.

It looks great on a hallway console, bookshelf, or sideboard, where the colored light has a wall behind it. A warm-toned bulb suits the glass better than a cool white one. Wipe the panels dry and keep liquids away from the lead joints.
