40-liter hiking backpack - for day hikes and mountain hut weekends

40-liter hiking backpack – plenty of room for a day or a weekend outdoors

A 40-liter backpack for day hikes and short overnight trips. There's room for clothes, food and a lightweight sleeping bag, while the water-repellent material keeps out a shower.

Why this hiking backpack?

When your backpack is full, how the weight sits matters. The chest and hip straps keep the load close to your back so it doesn't swing around.

• Room for two days: 40 liters for a day hike or an overnight stay at a mountain hut
• Steady on the move: chest and hip straps keep the backpack stable
• Cool back: the ventilated back panel lets air through
• Quick access: side pockets for a bottle and a map
• Built to last: abrasion-resistant material for branches, rocks and loose stones

Pack up, tighten the straps and go.

The shoulder straps are adjustable, so you can fit the backpack to your back length. The side pockets fit a water bottle and a hiking map. Put your rain jacket on top so you can pull it out quickly.
