Women’s hiking shoes – waterproof membrane and grippy lugged sole

Women's hiking shoes – dry feet on a wet trail

These shoes have a waterproof membrane and a lugged sole with excellent grip. They are designed for paths away from the pavement. The toe area is additionally reinforced.

Why waterproof hiking shoes?

On a wet trail, water gets in through the upper, not through the sole. A membrane keeps it out while still allowing water vapor to escape from inside. That is exactly what determines how far you can go.

• Waterproof membrane — keeps rain and puddle water away from your feet.
• Lugged sole — grips mud, grass, and gravel.
• Reinforced toe cap — absorbs impacts against rocks and roots.
• Padded collar — sits comfortably around the ankle without rubbing.
• Eight sizes — available from 36 to 43.

The outing continues even when the trail gets wet.

The shoes lace up through metal eyelets and can be tightened securely. Break them in a few times before going on a long hike. Clean them with water and a soft brush, not in the washing machine.
